June 2026 Meeting Highlights

Our club had the privilege of hosting author Scott Van Dam, who joined us to share his newest book, Minnelusa Magic. The room was packed — 92 attendees, one of our highest turnouts in recent memory — all eager to hear the stories, research, and passion that shaped his work.

​The evening also included a heartfelt tribute to Roger Clark, beloved author of several definitive books on Fairburn agates. Clark’s contributions have shaped generations of collectors, and his influence could be felt throughout the event — in the stories shared, and the admiration expressed by those who knew him or learned from his work.

The tribute served as a reminder that our hobby is built not only on the stones we find, but on the people who help us understand them.
